Our story
The Wanneroo Sports & Social Club (Inc.) began its life back in 1962 as the Wanneroo Country Club when a group of like-minded people decided that the area required more facilities than was available at that time. To this day, we still have some of our original foundation members.
In 1998, it became the Wanneroo Sports & Social Club (Inc.) as we know it today and is a not for profit organisation.
Averaging about 800 members the club is a family friendly hub of activity for the local community. Our visitors range somewhere between 3000 to 5000 people a year through bowls, darts and the many functions we host.
Our facilities
Many facilities are provided by the club for the use of members and visitors.
There is the bar, function rooms, a decked area fitted with electric BBQ’s, restaurant standard kitchen, snooker and pool tables, darts, TAB facilities, bowling greens and a 5 a side soccer venue.

Function rooms
We are more than just a sports club - we provide our community and our visitors a place to celebrate, a place to catch-up with friends and a place to do business. From playing or watching your chosen sport, to placing a bet, or having a beer with your mates, to dining with your friends and family, to hosting your latest board meeting or workshop
Pool and snooker
Come along and enjoy a game of snooker, billiards or pool with your friends! We have one full size snooker table and two competition pool tables.
Children’s Playground
Come down and join the family friendly atmosphere of our club. All round family enjoyment, while you and your group enjoy a BBQ and a game of social bowls the kid’s can enjoy these quality facilities.
